Civil Servants Pension Redress Initiative, also referred to as CPRI, is an independent public-interest publishing and information platform.
CPRI provides access to public-interest information, book-related content, public-record references, newsletter updates and related material concerning the civil servants pension redress issue.
CPRI is not a government department, pension fund, pension administrator, claims-processing office, legal practice, financial adviser, tax adviser, payment agent or official pension redress authority.

CPRI does not calculate pension claims, verify employment records, submit claims to pension authorities, receive pension payments on behalf of visitors, or act as a representative in pension matters.
Visitors who believe they may have a pension-related matter should verify their position directly with the relevant official institution, recognised representative body or qualified professional.
8. No promise of payment or outcome
CPRI does not promise, guarantee or imply that any person will receive payment, compensation, pension redress, benefits, corrected benefits, back pay or any other financial outcome.
Any examples, public documents, commentary, book content, articles, source notes or newsletter updates should not be interpreted as confirmation that any individual visitor qualifies for any payment or benefit.
Each person’s circumstances may differ and may require proper verification by the relevant authority or professional adviser.
9. Sensitive information warning
Please do not send CPRI your ID number, pension number, banking details, bank card information, passwords, one-time PINs, private pension records, claim documents, estate documents or other highly sensitive personal information through this website, by email, through a newsletter form or through a contact form.
CPRI will never ask you for your banking password, bank card PIN, one-time PIN, online banking login details or similar security information.
If you receive a suspicious message claiming to be from CPRI and asking for sensitive information, do not respond to it. Contact CPRI directly at redress@cpri.co.za.

Nothing in these terms is intended to limit any consumer rights that may apply under South African law, including the Consumer Protection Act, 68 of 2008, where applicable.
16. Digital products
Where CPRI sells E-books, downloadable files or digital products, access and delivery may take place electronically.
Digital products are generally not refundable once downloaded, accessed or delivered, unless the wrong file was supplied, the file is defective or inaccessible, the purchase was duplicated in error, a refund is required by law, or CPRI agrees to a refund in writing.
Customers should ensure that they select the correct format before completing an order.
17. Newsletter and email updates
